Each year, students in LTA 230 design a library program and present their ideas in a poster session open to the public. This year presented a bit of a challenge for the students since the class is fully online. Thus, the Virtual Poster Session! <br /><br />Five groups of students were asked to plan a program for teens in a ficticious library and convey the basic plan for the program using PowerPoint rather than a physical poster. Students were limited to 10 slides and were required to include information such as:<br /><ol><li>Title</li><li>Purpose</li><li>Goals/objectives</li><li>Primary audience</li><li>Expected attendance</li><li>Description of the program</li><li>Presenters (if applicable)</li><li>Collaborating organizations (if applicable)</li><li>Staffing</li><li>Budget concerns</li><li>Plan for publicity. </li></ol><p>Below are the results of the projects.
